Manitoba Reads Crowns Winning Book
Manitoba Reads wrapped up on Saturday, September 24, 2011. Gabrielle Roy’s ‘Where Nests the Water Hen’ finished first in the competition. A well-deserved win. David Alexander Robertson’s The Life of Helen Betty Osborne finished an amazing 2nd place, and won the audience choice award! A great job was done by Vincent Ho in defending David’s graphic novel.
