Really excited about this: on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at my favourite bookstore, McNally Robinson, I’ll be in conversation with the amazing writer & editor Warren Cariou, and one of my favourite journalists, Joanne Kelly, talking about The Evolution of Alice, my first novel, and how it all came to be.
Here is the event information on McNally’s website: RIGHT HERE!
I would love to go into the process of how “Alice” came to be now, but that would take away all of the fun of actually going to the event and checking it out for yourselves. However, after the event is done, I’ll write another blog about the whole thing, because it really is an interesting and unique journey; everything about it: the story behind why I wrote it, the process in which it was written, all of that.
This is another event for the On The Same Page 2016 initiative through the Winnipeg Public Library and the Winnipeg Foundation. Following the “Deconstructing Alice” event, we’re going to have a past winners event at the Millennium Library where I’m going to be welcoming Beatrice Mosionier, Joan Thomas, Kate Vermette, and a few other surprise guests. It’s going to be awesome.
That’s it for now!
